Open data

Open data constitute a fundamental pillar of open science, promoting transparency, accountability, and innovation in research and education.

At the University of Macedonia, the adoption and provision of open data are part of our strategy to enhance accessibility and the reuse of scientific knowledge. These data include research findings, statistical datasets, publicly available databases, as well as materials that can be utilized by researchers, students, policymakers, and citizens.
Open access to data encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, supports evidence-based decision-making, and enriches the educational process with new opportunities for analysis and creativity.

Through its open access platform, the University of Macedonia actively supports the free circulation of knowledge and contributes to the creation of a more equitable, participatory, and digitally mature academic environment.
